sector<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your business is a medium or large enterprise \u2014 more than 20 employees, or annual turnover over J$75 million.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your business is outside the four eligible sectors: manufacturing (including qualifying agro-processing and craft production), wholesale and retail trade, food and beverage services, or personal services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column info-card is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration &amp; documentation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You cannot show at least one required credential \u2014 a Trade Licence, Companies Office of Jamaica (COJ) registration, or, for qualifying craft vendors, an applicable TPDCo record.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You don&#8217;t have a valid TRN (and a valid business TRN, if registered with the COJ).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column info-card is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Location<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your business is located outside the affected parishes: St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland, Hanover, St. James, Trelawny, St. Ann and Manchester.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns info-cards is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column info-card is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hurricane impact<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your business was not operating before Hurricane Melissa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your business did not sustain Hurricane Melissa-related damage or loss to property, tools, equipment or stocks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column info-card is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How the grant can be used<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You&#8217;re applying for premises repair but are not the owner-occupier of that premises.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&#8217;re seeking reimbursement for purchases or repairs made before your grant was approved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&#8217;re seeking cash, unrestricted funds, or purchases outside what the grant authorizes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Support is based on need \u2014 The grant goes toward repairing your premises and replacing the specific tools, equipment, and stocks your business lost. Grant allocations vary based on the size of the business and the industry in which it operates. Confirmation of grant amount will be communicated after applications have been assessed and approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What it can be used for<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This isn\u2019t a cash payment made directly to you. Instead, we pay approved suppliers on your behalf for the repairs, tools, equipment or stocks covered by your grant. registered formally \u2014 and the hurricane damaged or destroyed the tools and stocks you used to earn a living, this grant is for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who qualifies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Self-employed individuals working in an eligible trade or service, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns info-cards is-layout-flex class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You will not be eligible for the Tools of Trade Grant if:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You are not self-employed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You already qualify for the FASST Biz Grant through a valid Trade Licence, COJ registration, or qualifying TPDCo record as a craft vendor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&#8217;re a licensed professional or independent professional contractor \u2014 including doctors, lawyers, accountants, IT specialists and engineers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You don&#8217;t operate a qualifying trade or service \u2014 eligible trades are craft and market vending, mechanics, carpentry, masonry, tailoring, hairdressing\/barbering, gardening, beauty therapy\/cosmetology, and cook-shop operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You don&#8217;t have a valid personal TRN.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You cannot provide the required verification evidence (your signed verifier letter).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your trade or service was not active before Hurricane Melissa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You did not experience Hurricane Melissa-related loss of income-generating tools, equipment or stocks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You operate outside the affected parishes: St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland, Hanover, St. James, Trelawny, St. Ann and Manchester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&#8217;re seeking cash conversion, retrospective reimbursement, or purchases outside what the grant authorizes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Tools of Trade Grant provides a fixed amount, the same for every eligible individual, to replace the tools, equipment, and stocks you lost \u2014 no formal business registration required.
